A coffee and cake morning in aid of Penrith Mountain Rescue Team will be held at a retirement development in the town.
People are invited to join Churchill Retirement Living at its Dutton Lodge development for a special Warming Morning event to raise funds for the volunteer team.
“At 10.30am on Thursday, everyone is welcome to step out of the cold and into the warmth of the development’s friendly owners’ lounge, where they can enjoy coffee, cake and a chat in return for a small donation,” said a spokesman.
All money raised will go to Penrith Mountain Rescue Team.
