Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was in Cumbria this week, filming a new TV show.
The outspoken TV personality, famous for shows including Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, was at Lowther Castle filming for the BBC.
His latest series, Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars, has just finished its run on BBC One, and featured the chef and contestants at Honister Slate Mine, cooking for members of Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
It is not known what the latest filming was for, but a spokesman for Lowther Castle said: “It was a lovely surprise for staff and visitors and he and the film crew could not have been nicer and more polite. They all said they loved their visit.”
