Police are investigating after reports of young people using quad bikes on land owned by Penrith Town Council.
Eden Police are reminding people that the field at Thacka Beck Field behind Pategill is owned by the town council, which does not want motorised vehicles using the land.
Eden police said: “Young people on quad bikes have been using this land in an anti-social manner.
“These individuals are being investigated for offences by Penrith community team. Riding a mechanically propelled vehicle on public space is a criminal offence.”
