Peaky Blinders-style music artists sat astride horses at Eamont Bridge yesterday to film a soon-to-be released video they hope will top the charts.
London-based actor and musician Denzel — who appears in the upcoming Uma Thurman TV series Suspicion — and Low Hesket star 21-year-old Joe Usher, took to the saddle to film the scenes.
The artists have taken inspiration from the award-winning BBC Peaky Blinders series following the lawless exploits of the Shelby family in 1920s Birmingham — with the track to be named after the show.
The duo donned Baker boy caps, three-piece suits and overcoats for filming at Happy Hooves Riding School and certainly stood out from the usual horsey crowd.
Denzel said: “I’ve been getting a lot of stares in the outfit, I don’t know if people are loving it or not!”
Denzel took to the saddle for the first time in his life to be filmed on eight-year-old Irish sports horse Guinness — owned by Joanne Allinson, of Appleby — while Joe rode 17hh Fresian cob Romeo owned by Molly Finney, Penrith.
The two-day shoot also saw scenes filmed at Keswick on Thursday morning with Derwentwater in the background and around Low Hesket on Wednesday.
London-based film-maker Louis-Oliver Byrne was behind the camera.
