Police are appealing for any information to a serious assault which took place in Penrith last month.
The incident, which was reported to police yesterday, is reported to have occurred near the park on Mill Street, Penrith on December 27 at around about 7.30pm.
It was reported that a man has been approached by three men and assaulted by two of the men.
The three men are described as white and in their late 20s.
All the men were wearing jeans and spoke with a Manchester accent.
The victim sustained a fractured eye socket from the assault.
