Penrith Cricket Club held its annual afternoon tea in aid of The Pink Ribbon Foundation.
The day was a sell-out and was enjoyed by all those who attended. A total of £531.36 was raised.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.
Thanks went to all who supported the event — Cartmell and Shepherd, who again sponsored it; Theresa Lancaster and her team for the wonderful food, Katie Jane for singing; and all those who attended the event and made it the success it was.
