Firefighters freed two casualties after a crash near Appleby.
Crews were called to the B6260 at Drybeck shortly before 4pm yesterday.
Two fire engines attended and used cutting equipment to free the two people.
Teams were at the scene for about an hour.
Both casualties received care from paramedics, but the injuries sustained were not life-threatening.
