John Parkinson, who runs the Upfront Puppet Theatre is set to be on TV tonight.
Film crews were at the theatre and gallery, near Hutton-in-the-Forest last year for Scouting For Toys, which will be screened on the Yesterday Channel and will also be available to be streamed.
The episode will feature an important sale of a collection of toy juvenile theatres and Upfront going to buy them at auction for its puppet museum, planned to open in the summer.
The crew visited Upfront last summer and filmed its lockdown summer season of Jack and the Beanstalk, as well as filming the onsite puppet collection.
John explains why he has a passion for puppetry and why he has built one of only four puppet theatres in England.
