Two people were treated by paramedics following a collision on the A685 near Brough.
Two fire engines from Appleby and Kirkby Stephen, were called to the incident, at around 5.35pm yesterday, Friday December 10, at Church Brough.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two casualties were extricated from their vehicles prior to the arrival of Fire and Rescue Service personnel and were passed to the care of North West Ambulance Service.”
Crews were detained for about 30 minutes.
