Robbery probe in Penrith

A robbery investigation has been launched after a person had their phone stolen after a scuffle in Penrith.

The incident took place on the town’s Castlegate, near the Station Hotel, on June 14 between 6.45pm and 7pm.

A man took the victim’s phone with force after the short scuffle. 

The suspect was wearing a fluorescent orange top with grey trousers. The victim has blonde hair and was wearing light blue leggings. 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
