More than 4,000 people are victims of a power cut this morning in the Penrith area.
Electricity North West is reporting that 4,313 customers are affected. It was reported at 9.11am and the power firm said a team was on site to fix the problem.
It is estimated power will be restored by 2pm.
It is not clear if it is connected to a fire at a substation in Keswick.
Two fire crews, police officers and three Electricity North West vans are on site at the location at Station Road, between the leisure centre and the Keswick Country House Hotel.
A section of the road has been closed and a spokesman for Electricity North West said around 5,000 homes were initially affected although power had been restored to around 2,000.
However, Electricity North West is reporting that 4,268 people are without power in the Penrith area.
It was reported at 9.11am. Power was restored at 5.17pm, Electricity North West said.
