Police in Eden say “it is not nice for the people who live there” as they probe three incidents of graffiti.
The criminal damage was caused overnight between November 16 into November 17 near the Butts in Alston, just behind the Co-op.
A statement from Eden police said the incident was “not nice for the people who live there, including the child. Not nice for the holidaymakers staying next door, and not nice for the third party who had their vehicle painted with the same.
“This is not the picture of Alston we want.”
