
Police in Cumbria are appealing for information after a crash on the A66 near Appleby.
Officers were called to the westbound carriageway, near the Appleby bypass, at 3.30pm yesterday.
The collision involved a single HGV. There were two occupants, a 42-year-old man and a 10-year-old, they were treated at the scene by paramedics and did not require further medical attention.
The collision led to a complex recovery of the vehicle and its contents.
