Central and South Cumbria are set to be battered by persistent rain – as the Met Office has issued a weather warning.
The yellow warning, which runs from 6am to 8pm tomorrow, Tuesday January 10, has been issued because outbreaks of rain are likely to be heaviest and most persistent across the North West of England.
Rainfall totals of 60mm to 80mm could accumulate in Cumbria, the Met Office said.
