Mountain rescuers were called on to help an elderly man who fell from a 4×4 farm vehicle near Glassonby on Saturday.
Volunteers with Penrith Mountain Rescue Team were called on at 12.35pm to assist the North West Ambulance Service.
Attending the incident in a field near Glassonby, the ambulance crew were able to treat and package the casualty.
This left the mountain rescue team to extract and transport them to the roadside and the waiting ambulance.
The callout saw 10 Penrith Mountain Rescue Team volunteers take part in the incident and they were in attendance for about an hours and 45 minutes.
