
Police are appealing for information after a motorist was threatened by a passer-by in Penrith.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident in Carleton Road yesterday at around 4.20pm.
The man approached a vehicle, banged on the window and is reported to have made a threatening gesture causing the occupant of the vehicle to be alarmed and distressed and fear violence.
The man is described as white, 20 years old and was wearing a blue tracksuit, a black North Face jacket, a cap and was carrying a black bag.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
