A man died while out walking with his family on New Year’s Eve.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was called out at about 1.35pm to Ullock Pike.
A couple and their son were out walking when the husband collapsed.
CPR was immediately administered and emergency services called.
The Great North Air Ambulance attended, followed quickly by members of Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
A statement from Keswick Mountain Rescue Team said: “Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team the man could not be saved.
“Our thoughts and sympathies are with the man’s family and friends.”
It was Keswick Mountain Rescue Team’s 126th call out of the year and 20 team members attended.
