A man has died in hospital following a collision on the A66 near Warcop.
Officers were called to the incident at about 12.15pm on Monday May 23.
The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen T Cross and a HGV.
Steven Goodings, 60, of Tyne and Wear was the driver of the Golf. He died in hospital on June 16.
A passenger in the vehicle Christine Goodings, 61, of Tyne and Wear, died at the scene.
The driver of the T Cross, a woman in her 50s, was in hospital but has since been discharged.
Two further people suffered minor injuries.
