A man has been arrested following a knife-point robbery at a Penrith garage.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said: “At around 8.30pm on Monday, Cumbria police were called to a report of a robbery at the garage on Ullswater Road Business Park.
“The report stated that the offender was in possession of a knife and left with a quantity of cash.
“Yesterday at around 5.30pm, police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of robbery.
“He remains in police custody today.”
