Here are the results from the 2023 local election results in Cumbria.

Polls closed at 10pm last night and counts took place overnight. The Allerdale area count – which includes Keswick – takes place today.

All contested parishes and wards for Westmorland and Furness Council have been verified and the results are below.

Those elected are bolded up.

Penrith Town Council

Penrith North – four seats

Turnout 31.8%

  • William Balderstone, Conservatives 273 votes
  • Paul Jackson, Labour 339 votes
