Kendal Calling has revealed its five headliners for 2024 along with some of its wider line-up.

Stars taking to this year’s main stage will be Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, Paul Heaton with special guest singer Rianne Downey, Keane and the Sugarbabes.

Over 120 additional big performers have been lined up for this summer’s festival including Declan Mckenna, The Lottery Winners, Craig Charles, Pale Waves and more.

Other acts named so far also include The Reytons, The Snuts, Kate Nash, Katy B, Heather Small, Russell Howard, Paul Smith, Lightning Seeds, The K’s, CMAT, The Hunna, The Pigeon Detectives, Peace, Sundara Karma, Red Rum Club, Royel Otis, Shy FX, Dick and Dom, The Lancashire Hotpots, Glasvegas and Orbital DJ.

A special DJ set from former Manchester United star Gary Neville going B2B with Charlatans’ front man Tim Burgess is also in this year’s line-up.

The festival has already seen over 60 per cent of tickets already sold and had a record 25,000 sign ups so far – and organisers are predicting another sell-out year.

Andy Smith, Kendal Calling co-founder said, “After the week we have had, bring on the summer! It is with much joy and excitement we share with you today the biggest Kendal Calling line-up to date.

“From the incredible Paolo Nutini closing the Sunday night and Keane, Sugababes, Paul Heaton and Rianne Downey and Katy B gracing our fields for the first time, joined by old friends Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds and The Streets closing the Friday and Saturday night respectively, we have the perfect ingredients for a fantastically celebratory weekend.

“But as ever the most important ingredient is you – and we can’t to see you in the fields.”

New stages are also being introduced to the fields this year – and details on them are still yet to be revealed.

While this year’s fancy dress theme has been decided by organisers, it is also yet to be named.

Ticket holders can expect everything from world class artists, to breakthrough bands, DJs, comedians and more alongside art and light installations and the annual carnival parade. Kids Calling will also make a return this year.

Kendal will once again come calling from August 1 until August 4 this year in Lowther Deer Park.

People are still able to sign up for pre-sale tickets which will go on sale from 10am Friday January 26.

General on sale will go ahead from 10am Saturday January 27.
