An improved dance for Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez saw them gain 31 points from the judges on Strictly Come Dancing.
They performed a Viennese waltz to Hopelessly Devoted to You from the musical Grease in week three of the competition – Movie Week.
Judges praised their performance overall – with Anton saying he really enjoyed it, although Helen’s line was not quite correct. Shirley said it was the biggest improvement of the night, Motsi declared it ‘beautiful’ and Craig – their biggest critic last week – said although the finishes needed some finesse, agreed the routine was beautiful.
The dancers wore wigs – with Gorka sporting a rather large quiff – and Helen wore a fitted 50s shirt and cream skirt.
Odds of the couple being eliminated are 100/1 and Helen’s odds of winning are 7/2 after the live show this week.
