
Eden’s drivers will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network.
Three closures will begin over the next seven days, National Highways says:
- A66, from 8am March 22 to 8pm March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 Kirkby Thore, traffic signals for SU works (BT).
- A66, from 10am to 3.30pm on March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 eastbound, Penruddock, Lane closure for SU works (EE).
- A66, from 8pm April 4 to 6am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 eastbound and westbound, Warcop to Brough, Convoy working for drainage works.
Two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
- M6, from 8pm December 9 2021 to 6am April 8 2022, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 37 to 38, Lane closures and entry/exit slip road closure for drainage works.
- A66, from 8am December 17 2021 to 8pm December 16 2022, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6, junction 40 Roundabout and northbound, main carriageway and A66 Kemplay bank TM Embargo every Friday daytime.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
