
The turnout for the election of the county’s next police and crime commissioner can now be revealed.
There were 107,824 votes cast across Cumbria on Thursday, a turnout of 27.62 per cent up from 24.9 per cent in 2016.
The three candidates are:
- Lorraine Birchall – Liberal Democrats
- Barbara Ann Cannon – Labour and Co-operative Party
- Peter Joseph McCall – Conservative Party
Results of the election are due to be announced later on today.
