Penrith’s Castlegate remains closed after a water main burst on Saturday.
It was reported that the road had reopened after engineers were on the scene to carry out emergency repairs, but it is closed this morning (Tuesday).
The road is closed in both directions from Great Dockray to Auctionmart Lane.
Diversions are in place.
