A man has been assaulted in Penrith.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened on February 19 at Castlegate, between 10pm and 11pm.
It has been reported that two men left Castlegate Arms and walked down an alleyway on the opposing side of the road.
The incident involved a man in his early 40s and a second man described as aged 29, white, 6ft, of a slim build with mousey blond hair.
He was wearing a white T-shirt with a blue stripe through the middle.
The man in his 40s received injuries including bruises, cuts and swelling. He did not attend hospital.
