The A66 has reopened in Cumbria after a fatal crash this morning.
Police were called at 5.19am to a crash involving two HGVs between Kirkby Thore and Long Marton.
The road was closed for more than 10 hours while recovery work and investigations took place, but the road has now reopened.
National Highways say there are “no significant residual delays in the area and traffic is flowing freely”.
