Penrith was hit by a number of anti-social incidents last night relating to fireworks.
Residents across Penrith reported fireworks being set off from sunset to the early hours.
Police attended a range of these incidents throughout the town, as well as vehicle anti-social behaviour on Gilwilly Industrial Estate.
A spokesman for the police said: “People must not throw fireworks, or use them in any other anti-social manner, whilst you must also refrain from using fireworks between 11pm and 7am.
“We ask that everyone who wishes to use fireworks does so in a responsible manner that is considerate of those living around them.
“Always be aware of the dangers fireworks can pose. If not used correctly they can cause serious injury and cause fires to start.”
