Former soldier, forestry and transport worker, Ken Buck, has died at the age of 92.
Ken was born on 10th December 1928 to Billy and Mable Buck of Crown Terrace, Penrith.
A man who was always full of colourful stories detailing his life, Ken joined the Army after leaving school.
He later worked in forestry, transport and many other industries throughout his life.
As an avid horse racing fan, Ken loved nothing more than to attend race meetings.
For many years he was a close friend and companion to the late Frances Elizabeth Siddle, often mentioning her and the memories they shared.
His family says his stories and kindness will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Donations in his memory, c/o Richardson’s Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith, will be in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
