Stagecoach has issued updates for its bus services this morning so far:

  • London Road is now back open so all our services will be running as normal.
  • Due to a fallen tree, it is unable to serve Thornthwaite on its X5 services.

Northern says that due to severe weather fewer trains are able to run on some lines. Train services running across the whole Northern network will be cancelled, delayed or suspended. It is advising customers not to travel across the Northern network.

Services are unable to run between Workington and Carlisle due to flooding on the railway at Aspatria. Road transport will be run between these stations.

Check your route here.

Avanti West Coast says services on its network are subject to speed restrictions, delays and cancellations due to the extreme weather and as a result are very busy.

Tickets from Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be accepted for travel today and tomorrow.
