Visitors to a Lake District beauty spot have left a local resident ‘absolutely appalled’ after dumping litter including disposable barbecues, a sauce bottle, and air beds.
A concerned Cumberland & Westmorland Herald reader sent us these photos of the area, which they said was between Glencoyne Bay and Glenridding.
They added: “I’ve only just seen this kind of thing on the TV and this was the first time I had experienced it first hand. Absolutely disgusting. Who do these people think is going to clean it up? I was absolutely appalled.”
