Tributes have been paid to a 68-year-old woman who died following a collision in east Cumbria.
Eileen Kelly, of Crosby Ravensworth, sustained multiple injuries in the collision between her car and a van on the C3060 and B6260 near Maulds Meaburn on Wednesday November 29.
Eileen was well known by the local community and surrounding areas, and liked playing bingo in her spare time.
Former partner of Harold Metcalfe, and mother to two sons Robert and Darren, she was loved dearly by her sons and mainly cared for her oldest son, Robert, due to his disability.
Eileen, who worked at Newton Rigg, and most recently Morland Primary School as a midday supervisor, will be deeply missed by the community of Crosby Ravensworth, a tribute issued by police said.
Cumbria police would also like to thank those who helped at the scene to help Eileen and the emergency services.
