Traffic is being diverted in Penrith town centre after a collision involving a van and a pedestrian.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, between the HSBC and the Musgrave Monument.
Four police vehicles and two BEEP Doctors are at the incident, which is understood to have involved a white van, driven by a young man, and an elderly woman.
Northbound traffic is being turned around at Penrith Building Society on King Street causing delays and congestion throughout the town.
