The family of Sophie Burns have issued a tribute to a beautiful and talented woman, who will leave a hole in their lives they will never fill.
They said: “Our beautiful, talented Sophie has gone forever.
“Taken from us by an illness she couldn’t control and we will never truly understand.
“She leaves a hole in our lives that we will never, ever fill.”
Sophie, 28, of Dalton Crescent, was last seen on December 12.
Her body was found in the Burgh-by-Sands area on Monday.
