Cashpoints have been taken out of use and signs removed at a former Penrith bank and town building society.
Lloyds Bank in King Street and the Halifax in Middlegate have been stripped of their branding after closing their doors to customers.
The town’s Barclays is also set to follow suit next month, with notice having been given that it will shut for good at noon on Wednesday, April 17.
