
Drivers in and around Eden will have five National Highways roadworks to watch out for this week.
- M6, from 6am September 20 to 6pm September 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 39 to 40, Lane three closure for inspection works.
- A66, from 7am September 26 to 7pm October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A66 eastbound and westbound, Stainmore Cafe to Black Riggs, TM to be confirmed.
- A66, from 8pm October 2 to 3pm October 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 eastbound and westbound, Threlkeld to Low Briery, traffic signals and layby closure for trial holes.
One closure is already in place is expected to carry on this week:
- A66, from 8am December 17 2021 to 8pm December 16 2022, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6, junction 40 Roundabout and northbound, main carriageway and A66 Kemplay bank TM Embargo every Friday daytime.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in its schedule.
