Drivers in and around Eden will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for.
Two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
Two closures will begin over the next seven days:
A66, from 8pm April 4 to 6am April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 eastbound and westbound, Warcop to Brough, convoy working for drainage works.
A66, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on April 5, moderate delays (10 to 30 minutes): A66 Warcop, traffic signals in place to allow BT to carry out work on county council road.
Work is expected to finish on drainage work on the M6 slip roads between junction 37 and 38 at 6am on April 8 and work continues on the A66 and M6 junction 40 roundabout and northbound carriageway at Kemplay Bank.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
