Police have visited a house in Alston after concerns there were two dangerous dogs living there.
Eden Police said there were concerns that two XL Bully dogs were living at the home in the Leadgate area.
A specialist police dog handlers visited the address and examined the dogs and confirmed they were not an XL Bully breed.
Eden Police added: “Handling and safeguarding advice was given to the owner of the dogs.”
