Around £1,000-worth of damage has been caused after a Pooley Bridge tearoom was broken into overnight.
Granny Dowbekin’s is likely to be closed until 11am while police investigate.
Owner Colin Hindle said it was the second break-in in two years and extra security measures would now have to be put in place.

Police are on site.
It is understood the thieves escaped with a few pound coins after entry was gained through the forcing of windows.
