Police are investigating a collision involving a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian last night.
It happened between 6pm and 6.15pm on the junction of King Street and Old London Road, Penrith.
The pedestrian got up and walked off without providing details.
A search was made by police but the pedestrian was not found.
Officers are appealing directly to the pedestrian to contact officers so they can check on their welfare.
Police are also appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The pedestrian was described as a white man, aged about 50, wearing a dark open coat and a clear COVID-19 visor.
