Police have released the description of a youth wanted in connection with a report of criminal damage which took place today in Penrith.
A rock, described by a bystander as being “the size of a golf ball”, was thrown through the back window of a BMW parked in the car park at Great Dockray, which is used on a Tuesday, by the newly re-established Penrith Market, run by Eden District Council.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary said at 9.58am today police received a report of criminal damage that occurred at Great Dockray in Penrith.
“A young male was seen to throw a rock through the back windscreen on a silver BMW that was parked and unoccupied.
“The male is described as skinny wearing dark clothing, a Puffa-style jacket and one blue glove.
“The investigation continues,” said the spokeswoman.
