Police, fire and paramedics are dealing with a crash on the A66 near Kemplay Bank Roundabout in Penrith.
It is believed a lorry carrying a static caravan has been in a collision with a car.
Emergency services were called shortly before 4.30pm today and are still at the scene.
The road is blocked westbound just before the roundabout and officers are directing traffic.
HGVs travelling west are being diverted onto the A685.
No update is available at this time on the severity of any injuries.
