A closing date of mid-April has been confirmed for another national retailer in Penrith.
The Works, based in Devonshire Street, is part of a discount retail chain – which has over 500 stores nationwide – offering products including books, art supplies, games and stationery.
A spokeswoman for The Works said: “We can confirm that we will be closing our Penrith store in mid-April.
“We have loved being part of the local community and apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
“All team members will be redeployed to local stores.”
