A Penrith man accused of cocaine supply crimes has appeared in court.
Kyle Challoner, 42, of Elm Terrace, faces a total of four charges.
One charge alleges he supplied a quality of the class A drug to persons unknown, at Penrith, between March 13, 2020, and March 2 this year.
Two more allege that he had the illegal substance in his possession — on both March 1 and March 14 this year — with intent to supply it to another.
And a fourth alleges the simple possession of cocaine on March 1.
Challoner entered no plea to any of the charges when he appeared at Carlisle magistrates’ court earlier today. He was represented by solicitor Chris Toms.
Magistrates directed that the case should be sent to the city’s crown court. Challoner is due to appear there, in front of a judge, on October 1, and in the meantime was granted unconditional bail.
