Eden police have been called out to deal with an unusual cause of gridlock.
Traffic was backing up in Penrith and the cause was a family of ducks trying to cross the roads in the town.
Eden police said: “Our job is so varied. We’ve saved these ducks who were causing gridlock, crossing the roads in Penrith. Thanks to staff from Vets 4 Pets, Cumbrian Properties and The Royal who came and assisted with bread!”
