A Penrith girl has been bitten on the face by a dog in the town.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened on December 16 at 1.30pm in the Beatham Court/Scotland Road area.
The dog has jumped up into the 15-year-old’s face and bit her in the eyebrow area. There were no significant injuries.
Police said the owner is described as a woman aged around 40, 5ft 5in, of a medium to larger build, with black curly hair. She was wearing a long black cardigan, a T-shirt, and grey jeans. The dog was described as a Border collie-type breed.
Police are asking for anyone who saw the incident or who has any information about the person to contact them.
