Pip Anthony Brown invites customers to check out the new- look Loose Moose in Penrith. Penrith venue The Loose Moose is under new management and is inviting the Eden public to check out its fresh look, latest menus and vibrant line-up of events. With a revamped, brighter interior, and a choice of offerings ranging from teas and light bites, to full on party discos, The Loose Moose, in Little Dockray, aims to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community but is providing an atmosphere where all are welcome, says Pip (Philip) Anthony Brown, the new deputy manager at the venue. He told the Herald: “We have got brand new staff. We have got new events. Last night we had bingo and it went really, really well. We have karaoke and every Saturday we have a disco, with different types of music for people to enjoy.” The bar/venue, which held its relaunch party last week, offers a series of events including live music acts, jam sessions and even has a popular drag artist lined up. In June, nationally known drag star Terry Tour will be bringing a sprinkling of glamour and song to Penrith with her show, which promises powerhouse vocals and a knock out repertoire. “We are an LGBTQ+ friendly venue but we are inclusive and here for everyone. Everyone is invited and it is a space for everyone to come and enjoy,” said Pip. The Loose Moose is also offering afternoon teas, from 12pm-5pm on Sundays which are proving popular. It provides a kids’ menu, breakfasts and a main menu. Food is available seven days a week, with a new evening menu set to be launched.
