Emergency services are currently in the centre of Penrith – but there is no major incident.
Instead, police, the fire service and the DVLA are pulling drivers over for vehicle checks.
Drivers will also be given the opportunity to watch an educational video about safe driving.
They are currently by the Musgrave Monument today, February 14, at around 5.30pm and will be moving on to another location in the town later on this evening.
