Put on your dancing shoes for an evening of live swing jazz music in Penrith next weekend.
Swing Dance Cumbria welcomes The Luca Brasi Group to Queen Elizabeth Grammar School on Saturday, 21st October.
The band of talented musicians from the Lancaster area play a range of toe-tapping swing music from the 1930s and 40s with Paul Froggatt on sax, guitarist Tim Hickman, Paula Williams on keys, Scott Montgomery on upright bass and drummer Richard Rushton.
Tim Hickman grew up in the western United States and is (mostly) from Los Angeles, while Richard Rushton comes from Australia and played in several pop, jazz and funk bands in Sydney before moving to Lancaster.
Doors open at 7-30pm and the band starts at 8pm.
