A man has been injured in a fire at a property in Penrith this morning.
The fire occurred at a property in King Street.
Emergency services, including Cumbria Fire and Rescue and the North West Ambulance Service, were called at 7.06am and the road was closed.
Three fire engines and several police vans were at the scene.
The road reopened mid-morning, but a cordon remained in place while investigations continued.
A police spokeswoman said: “A local man has been taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“The fire is currently not believed to be suspicious.”
